I'm really diggin' his hat in that one picture. Just FYI, he told me that it was faux fur and no animals were harmed in the making of that hat. :)
Apparently, Fischer has also been attending culinary school in his spare time. His Grandpa Rose entered Fischer's secret recipe of plum jelly in the Butler County Fair and Fischer walked away (technically, I guess he was carried away since he can't walk yet) with the blue ribbon, two dollars (which I hope he is investing wisely) and a calculator! I'm looking forward to sampling some of his tasty treats soon.

I also have to tell you what I did on Sunday. Grandfather took me for my very first ride on the combine! We cut some rice, loaded it up in the big grain truck and had the guys haul it off to the elevator at Riceland. Last night I even had rice cereal for supper. I gotta do my part to keep Grandfather and rest of the farmers in business!
