Snow Fun!

When I woke up from my morning nap today I was excited to see that it was snowing! I liked looking out the window watching it fall onto the ground.
When Daddy came home from work we all bundled up and went out to see the snow up close.
I don't have a sled, but my wagon worked just fine.
Daddy helped me make a few snowballs.
Which I thought were pretty tasty!
I liked playing in the snow so much that when we came back in I cried and stood by the door wanting to go back out. Maybe tomorrow I guess.

You Say It's Your Birthday...

Just a quick post to wish Uncle Andrew a happy birthday! I'm sure Fischer is planning a good time for his daddy today. Wish I could be there to celebrate. Have a great day, Uncle Andrew!

Flying the Friendly Skies

Friday, I put on my airplane outfit and took my very first flight. I did so good on the plane and even became Southwest's unofficial greeter. I loved saying "hi" to everyone that got on the plane. Seriously, I said it to everyone. You might think I would have gotten tired of saying it, but I didn't! I said it probably 100 times just on one flight! Most people returned my gesture and said it back to me.

Waiting to board...
I love greeting the other passengers...

Did someone say snack? Let me get my tray down for this...

Here I am doing a little shopping from Sky Mall...

We went to Dallas to surprise my Great-Uncle Mark for his 50th birthday. Friday night, Great-Aunt Cheryl had a big surprise party for him and I danced my little booty off! The band was great and I really got down.
Here I am cutting a rug...

Family picture time...

Saturday night we went to the Dallas Mavericks game. Here I am enjoying the game from our suite...

I also stopped by to see Aunt Jamie (Mommy's college roomie) while I was in Dallas...

I was so worn out from all of my travels that I crashed around 6pm when we got home and I didn't get up until 8:15 the next morning! I had a great time though and can't wait to start racking up those frequent flyer miles! Next stop...Maui!

In the Dog House

I have really been interested in Scout's cage the last few weeks. I like trying (and sometimes succeeding) to open her cage door so she can escape. I usually do this when we are leaving to go somewhere and then Mom and Dad have to chase her around the house to get her back in her cage. Scout keeps her cage looking nice with blankets and toys in it and well, it just looks so darn cozy! Today while she wasn't using her cage, I decided I would! Please don't bother calling DFS because this was my idea. Mommy didn't lock me up, although the thought has crossed her mind once or twice. :-) Check me out below...

A Swimming Good Time

Another great time at swimming lessons last night! I practiced getting my face in the water more and am really starting to get the hang of this whole swimming thing. I think I might be a good contender for a spot on the 2008 USA Olympic Swim Team. Look out Beijing...here I come!

Here are the action shots I promised...

Canon Ball!

Last night I started swimming lessons. It was kind of like taking a bath in the tub only this tub was much bigger! My neighbor Jack and I were the only ones there, so we got some great one-on-one time with the instructor. She showed me how to kick, jump off the step and even dip my face in the water. She tried to get me to blow some bubbles in the water, but I didn't quite master that one. I liked pretending I was blowing bubbles above the water instead. I would have to say my favorite part was jumping off the step. Mommy would count to 3 so I could jump, but I could hardly wait for her to count. I would get excited and start giggling before she ever even started counting! I didn't have any action shots of me because Mommy couldn't manage a camera and a baby in the pool at the same time. However, tonight Daddy is coming along so I'll be sure to get pics then and post them so you can see me in action!

A New Year...A New Trick!

I have recently been working hard to figure out how I can climb onto things. The couch, my big blocks, the rocking chair...you name it, I will try my hardest to climb up on it. Today, I finally got my legs, arms and booty to do what I wanted and made my way up onto the couch! It took a little while, but I managed to do it. When I realized I was getting close to getting up on it, I started laughing my infamous laugh while I was climbing. Mommy was watching me and laughing herself. When I finally made it up, I just sat there laughing and waiting for Mommy's reaction. Once she started to reach for me to get me down I stood up as fast as I could and tried to RUN off of the couch! I got even smarter by lunch time and when Daddy was home I put a throw pillow from the couch on the floor and decided to use it as a "step" up onto the couch. That made things much easier for me! As I'm sure you can guess, by the end of the day there were no pillows to be found at our house! :-(

S-T-R-E-T-C-H!

and I'm up...

I did it!
Now I'm gonna call everyone and tell them I am a climber!

New Year's Rockin' Eve

Last night I invited my cousin Hannah, Aunt Chelle and Uncle Aaron over to ring in the new year with me. Hannah and I did our own thing while our parents turned into rockstars with Guitar Hero. It was all fun and games until Mommy rocked out a little too hard and injured her shoulder. I think she'll survive though. :-) Here are a few pics from last night...

Insurance agent by day, rockstar by night...

What's that you're sipping on there, Hannah?

Slash doesn't having anything on Uncle Aaron...

Woo-hoo it's 2008!

My new year's resolution is to practice my guitar skills. Maybe then I can play next time. :-)

Happy New Year!
