What's up, Doc?

Today I went to see Dr. Suvan (or "Dr. Man" as my cousin Hannah likes to call him) for my shots...OUCH! I'm tough as nails though and it only hurt for a little bit. He weighed and measured me and I tipped the scales at 20 lbs. and was 28 inches long! He also checked out my new pearly whites and said they were lookin' good!

(Here's a picture of me before heading off to my appointment.)

Afterwards I swung by Kroger to pick me up some more green beans for dinner. Boy, I really make some awful faces when Mom feeds them to me. You would think she'd give it up by now, but she just keeps on feeding them to me so I keep on opening my mouth!

Tomorrow I'm headed down to the farm to celebrate the 4th with Grandfather, Mimi, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Andy and my new cousin Fischer. I'm looking forward to that! Uncle Andy is supposed to be bringing some snap 'n pops and snakes so Fischer and I can get our feet wet with the whole fireworks thing. Next year it will be Roman Candles and M-80's...LOOK OUT!!!

P.S. I loved reading everyone's comments about my earlier post! I'm so glad you enjoyed reading it! :)

Welcome to my blog!

I have learned so many new things lately! I am now crawling! I'm not too fast yet, still learning how to get my arms and legs to do what I want, but it won't be long before Mom really has to start chasing me around the house. I can also can say "mama" and "dada". I know some of you have already heard me say it, but isn't it just the cutest thing you've ever heard?! I am working on saying "Scout" but I haven't quite gotten that one down yet. I also have 2 teeth coming in! My 2 bottom central incisor teeth are coming in at the same time. I can see a little white coming through, but usually when Mom tries to look at them I stick my tongue out so she can't get a good look. And last, but definitely not least on Mom and Dad's list, I have decided to sleep through the night! I know Mom and Dad are really enjoying that one! :)

As you can tell, there were a lot of new things happening around the Rhodes' household this past month! I hope to update this blog often with all of my newest accomplishments, so be sure to check back soon for more pictures and videos!
